![]() We tested the PureSpinTM driver with the parallel composite shaft versus a Callaway® Great Big Bertha® -- one of the most popular drivers ever made -- and the new FireSole™ driver -- the latest technology from TaylorMade® to see how quickly they square the clubface in the downswing. Robotic testing showed in total distance averages, the PureSpinTM went 27 yards longer than the Titleist 975D, 23 yards longer than the Callaway® Great Big Bertha® and 23 yards longer than the TaylorMade® FireSole™ (see Drive Test results at right). What makes the PureSpinTM driver drive? The parallel shaft allows the club to bend more, allowing more power to be built up. The PureSpinTM parallel shaft also is 30% lighter than graphite, with an extra-wide tip, causing less torque which means no excessive slicing or hooking. ![]() You know no two golfers swing the same but the new technology of the PureSpinTM Driver with the parallel shaft allows either a fast, quick swinger or a smooth, slower swinger to get more distance and accuracy. |
