Diamond Durability Testing
Just how durable is this diamond crystal coating? We subjected our clubs to a constant bombardment of golf balls at the True Temper testing facility in Carlsbad, California.

True Temper Sports is the worldwide leader in golf shafts. At their West Coast testing facility, they put clubs to a variety of stress tests, utilizing their patented ball cannon machine. The ball cannon fires golf balls at 100 miles per hour to test the durability of the club's head and face. Generally, the technical advisors at True Temper fire about 200 golf balls at a club heads but PureSpin wanted to take it to the extreme. PureSpinTM asked True Temper to hit the PureSpin 5,000 times at 100 miles per hour.

The result? After 5,000 hits, there was no appreciable wear on the clubface at all. Which means your PureSpinTM club performs beautifully your first round of golf, in your fifth, in your fiftieth.

How well do we know our technology? Take our patent-pending process to bond diamond crystals to titanium, achieving the hardest clubfaces in golf.

Titanium melts at 2000 degrees, diamonds become carbon at 900. Our scientists, all golf fanatics, developed the Reduction Firing Process making the bonding of titanium and diamonds possible by recrystalizing the titanium head in a vacuum.

What this means to you is a diamond and titanium face that is harder and stronger than conventional titanium and much harder than any alpha-miraging steel-face driver.
